June...

Besides December... June is my favorite month!

In December I'm planning Jim & Chris' birthdays and Christmas. I love the parties and shopping and singing Christmas carols all day long. There is the magic of the first snow fall, lighting our Advent wreath during Sunday dinners, it's just a special family time.

June is full of sunshine, school is out and the days are long. In our house we celebrate my birthday, Father's day and our wedding anniversary all within a week, it feels like Christmas!

It is really a more relaxed time, decadently carefree...

With the promise of Hope looming near and the summer just beginning it makes me think of one of my favorite verses in Proverbs:

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life." Proverbs 13:12

Our tree is in full bloom! Happy June! Hope is just around the corner...
