Great News!

Okay, in this rollercoaster of high expectations, dashed hopes and ever changing landscape, something worked...

Our I-171h expires this coming Tuesday. We got our medicals done in June, our home study updated in July and I mailed our I-600A application with a request for one free renewal on August 17th.

Today we received a letter from Immigration dated 8/21 that they have accepted our one time free application extension! Our fingerprinting appointment will be coming (when? who knows) Current processing time overall is 3 months from letter date!

Yahoo, we caught a break... now that the orphan donation has gone up $1000 I think we broke even!

P.S. To those of you that missed the cut-off, (Luna) I am sorry... but you will be getting your baby sooner... I'll trade if you want!
